Fine-Line-Printing
The industrial requirements for printing screens for technical screen
printing regarding registration accuracy, resolutions and durability
have increased significantly over recent years. Precision screens are
used for printing thick-film hybrids, LTCC circuits, MLCC components,
solar cells…
Line widths and spacing – Past – Present – Future
About 10 years ago the conductor track width of thick-film circuits was 120 µm - 200 µm. The circuit of an engine control unit for automobile manufacturing had 4“ x 4“ dimensions then. Today the circuit size has already been halved with more functions, because it is possible to reduce the line widths to < 100 µm. Due to the constantly increasing packing density requirements for circuits in all electronic areas, line widths of < 80 µm are required. Circuits with a line resolution of < 30 µm are already used in Asia today.Precision screen and the conductor tracks printed with it.

Technological comparison between Europe and Japan
The following attachment shows a comparison between Japan and Europe using the example of LTCC circuits. The technological lead becomes clearly apparent here. It is our aim to deliver precision screens that meet these high quality requirements.Click here to view the table
