Screen Printing Fabrics

• Stainless steel wire fabrics (VA)
  Steel fabrics have a large open screen area (minimum wire diameter 16 µm) and are also suitable for fine line printing (line/space 20/20 µm). Due to their high mechanical strength, high print accuracy can be achieved. Paste application is higher compared to using polyester and V-Screen fabrics.

• Polyester fabrics (POL)
  Polyester fabrics are very elastic and therefore suitable for the printing of uneven substrate surfaces. High elongation results in decreased print accuracy. Because of the reduced open screen area (minimum thread diameter 27 µm) the fabric is less suitable for fine line printing.

• V-Screen fabrics
  V-Screen fabric is made of a liquid crystal polyacrylate fiber, which has a considerably increased tensile strength compared to that of stainless steel and very minimal elongation. The elasticity is more than double that of stainless steel wire fabrics. This enables achieving high print accuracy and a long service life. The fabric is less suitable for fine line printing because of its reduced open screen area (minimum thread diameter 23 µm).
